All players are required to participate in a district event in order to advance to the state finals championship. Chattanooga pickleball is the last district tournament before the state finals August 5-9 at the Chattanooga Convention Center. By participating in one event (singles/doubles/or mixed), you are allowed to play all three at state if desired.

Please note that brand new players to our system are allowed a one-time exemption from district play, so if you meet new players after the district tournament, they will be allowed to jump in at state.

When registering, each player has to select their personal skill level rating, which also determines the Division in which they will play. (Please be honest!)

Division 1: (5.0-4.5)

Division 2: (4.0)

Division 3: (3.5)

Division 4: (3.0-2.5)

Format of play

Round Robin with 5 Teams or Less (2 out of 3 to 11)

Double Elimination with 6 Teams or more (Winner's bracket 2 out of 3 to 11, Loser’s Bracket 1 game to 15).

Venues: Hixson, South Chattanooga, and Tyner Community Centers.
