BASKETBALL SKILL EVENTS - ALL skill participants need to report at 9:00 am
Free Throw/3 Point/Hot Shot
Date: Thursday, September 24, 2026
Time: Check-in at 8:30am
Order of events: 9:00am Free throw, followed by 3 Point, followed by Hot Shot.
Location: Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road, Franklin, TN 37064
(Off Hillsboro Rd. on Fulton Greer Lane, just north of Mack Hatcher Hwy.)
Equipment: Players must use equipment provided
The format is as follows: Free throw and 3 Point - best of 10 shots. One or two practice throws will be allowed prior to the official count if the participant desires. In the hotshot, five spots are marked at locations on the court. The competitor has one minute to score as many points as possible from these marks that are worth between 2 and 5 points.
PARTICIPANT LISTS will be available on-site at the venue.
Water fountains and refillable stations are available. Please bring a water bottle.
BASKETBALL 3 ON 3

Triple Bogey Rule: A triple bogey maximum will be allowed at each hole. Balls should be picked up once this occurs and score should be recorded.
Range balls - a small basket of balls is included.

Food: The grill will be open, and meals are on your own.

We are excited about partnering with Pickleball Kingdom! Here are some facilities details to assit you on competition days.
- We have ample, dedicated on-site parking available at no charge.
- Our facility has a water fountain and bottle-filling station.
- We also sell a variety of beverages, including bottled water, Gatorade, and energy drinks, along with prepackaged snacks such as protein bars, trail mix, and chips.
- We have full locker rooms, each equipped with a shower. Anyone planning to shower will need to bring a towel, as we do not sell or rent towels.
- There are benches throughout the court aisles, and participants are also welcome to bring a folding chair if they would like additional seating.

TRACK AND FIELD

With the heat index forecast for Saturday, we are making some modifications to the meet.
The track events will start at 8:00 am (an hour earlier). We will start with the powerwalk (order at bottom).
The field events are being canceled.

The heat index is predicted to be above 100 Saturday afternoon. With 75% of the field athletes participating in the morning runs, plus officials and staff outdoors all morning, it will not be wise to keep so many out in the heat. Thus canceling the field events.
Because of these changes to the schedule and the competitive challenges, we will be very flexible about the current modified rule that states that runners may pick up one additional event at the state finals for every event completed at district. Basically, all track and field registered athletes will be eligible for all state finals events. We want for athletes to be able to participate as much or little as desired Saturday.

Please note that the BHS band will be practicing in the parking lot behind the 2nd ticket booth/soccer field. So, it will be closed that day.
