Chair Volleyball

Chair Volleyball did not make and was not be held at the 2025 State Finals.   Some of our districts host Chair Volleyball and we encourage you to participate at those events.

This popular sport played by 6 on each team features a twist with players required to stay in chairs while attempting to keep a beach volleyball in play over a smaller net. Come join the laughter and reap the benefits of increased neck flexibility, core strength, hand-eye coordination, and shoulder mobility.

Co-ed Teams-

Teams consist of 6 players on the court.   Teams can consist of both men and women in any combination on the
roster, with a maximum of 3 men on the court at a time. No limit on the number of people on the roster.

Each team must provide a minimum of 2 volunteers who are not on any participating team for officiating, line calls and scorekeeping.  For any disputes, the team captains of the two teams playing will make final decisions on calls by coming to an agreement before continuing the game.  The TSO will also try to recruit volunteers.

* Note - all teams cannot take the floor at the general start time.  Detailed brackets with times will be posted on this page one week prior to the event.

Players may play on only one team during competition. This includes all age groups (i.e. a player may not play on a 50+ and 60+ team).  Teams disregarding this rule will be disqualified.
