You are required to have a free account on Global or you will be in danger of forfeiting during the tournament. Court assignments will be texted throughout the tourney from this system. See instructions below.

We will be using Global Pickleball Network software to run the tournament brackets, informing everyone via text and email of time of play and court assignments throughout the tournament. This is free and required to help run your tournament smoothly.

Pickleball
Events: Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Venue Location: Chattanooga Convention Center (indoor courts/concrete)

2026 Competition Dates: August 5-9
Schedule- Subject to change
Wednesday 8/5: Singles M/W ages 65+ (to start in the afternoon after set-up)
Thursday 8/6: M/W Doubles ages 65+
Friday 8/7: Mixed Doubles Ages 65+
Friday 8/7: Singles M/W Ages 50-64
Saturday 8/8: M/W Doubles Ages 50-64
Sunday 8/9: Mixed Doubles Ages 50-64
NEW RULE for PICKLEBALL: Players may play on TWO doubles or mixed doubles teams if the session starts are on different days. For example, a 65 year-old player may play on a 65+ doubles team starting Thursday and a 60+ doubles team starting Saturday.
Skill divisions:
Division I: 4.5/5.0
Division II: 4.0
Division III: 3.5
Division IV: 3.0
Division V: 2.5
It is imperative that you submit a correct and honest rating!

Age/Skill doubles and mixed doubles will be determined by the higher skill player and the lower aged player as of 12/31/2026.
National Qualification Info:
2026 is a qualifying year for the National Senior Games. The top THREE players/teams from EACH skill level and age group will qualify. Visit www.nsga.com for more info. Only the top 4 divisions will be eligible. Division V (2.5) will not advance.

Parking:
Please note that downtown hotels typically charge for parking. However, there is a free electric shuttle service that runs to the Convention Center from downtown hotels. Please click this link to view the route:

For those coming in from outside the downtown area, parking is available at the Convention Center garage as well as metered parking on the street and pay-for-lots nearby.

Paddles:
Although this is an unsanctioned tournament, Tennessee Senior Olympics follows the current USA Pickleball Official Rules. Players are responsible for using a paddle that appears as "Pass" on the current USA Pickleball Approved Paddle List. Tournament officials reserve the right to inspect any paddle at any time. Any paddle that is not approved, has been modified, or has been removed from the approved list may not be used in competition.
It is the responsibility of each player to bring a legal paddle.

Format per division: will be available one week out from play.
Medals: If you must leave before medals are awarded, please have a friend/athlete check your place and pick it up for you. Medals will also be mailed after receiving a request in writing, accompanied by a check payable to the TN Senior Olympics in the amount of $15.00 per medal for shipping and handling.
